Job Description

The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing scaling, root planning, and polishing of patients teeth. Additional duties include determining vital signs, reviewing medical histories, conducting preliminary exams, and charting missing and filled teeth. The role also involves exposing, developing, and mounting periapical and panoramic radiographs, as well as entering patient data into charts as appropriate.
Patient education is a key component of this role, including instruction on the causes, prevention, and consequences of periodontal disease, along with guidance on proper oral hygiene techniques. The hygienist will also be responsible for maintaining instruments and the operatory according to accepted standards, managing recall appointment schedules and records, and performing other duties as assigned.
minimum pay starting at 32/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves
Associate degree in Dental Hygiene, licensed as a Dental Hygienist.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses
CPR certification.
Dental Hygiene license from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
