Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager to join a growing team based out of Louisville, KY. We are looking for a Project Manager who can prioritize tasks on a daily and weekly basis to address the most important needs of the project while maximizing field productivity and ensuring no gaps in the work. The Project Manager should also be able to delegate tasks based on their own specific capabilities and the specialized skills of the project team, and to understand when to delegate select administrative needs to the project office in order to focus on the most impactful tasks. The Project Manager should be organized and able to create, track, and communicate submittal logs, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, ASIs, change orders, and other project documents in a timely fashion, and to ensure all parameters of document control and updating documents during construction are established and met. The Project Manager should also have the ability to have direct and professional conversations with Owners and Architects to deliver difficult and potentially adversarial news, and to resolve any issues or conflicts. This individual serve as the primary person in charge on the project team to evaluate and correct schedule slippage by analyzing the MS Project schedule and the on-site performance of subcontractors. The Project Manager should also take initiative and proactively manage change orders, submittals, and other project items to avoid delays caused by the lag time in processing and approving such items. The Project Manager should also be in charge of recovery and problem solving, and be able to maintain a level head and a positive attitude in the face of adversarial or difficult situations, and to determine, build consensus, and lead the implementation of solutions to problems. The Project Manager should also provide strong and independent leadership in OAC and Subcontractor meetings, and establish themselves as the primary point of contact at the client for all the immediate needs and questions.
