Job Description

Oversee Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursement functions according to
established policies and procedures, in order to maintain accurate and timely financial
and tax reporting. Provide assistance and backup to Accounts Payable Specialist,
Accounting Assistant, and other team members as needed. Observe confidentiality of
client and law office matters. Process banking and financial transactions; prepare
financial reconciliations and reports as required. Assist with special projects and other
responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 4 to 5 years of similar work experience, preferably in a law firm or other
professional service organization
Bachelors or associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Understanding of accounting principles, policies, and procedures
Ability organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time
constraints with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to accurately and efficiently maintain and analyze data
Accounts Payable Supervisor
Advanced computer/software proficiency with Microsoft Office products,
especially Excel, and PDF and scanning software. Experience with Elite
Enterprise, 3E and Chrome River systems preferred.
Dependable and accountable team player who works collaboratively and
cooperatively with a diverse group of attorneys and staff
Proactive with excellent troubleshooting, problem resolution and follow-through
skills
Ability to adapt to an evolving work environment and participate in testing and
implementation of new processes when necessary
Maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client and Firm matters
Excellent written and oral communication skills, displays high degree of business
acumen, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence
Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week
