Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an SAP BTP Solution Administrator for an onsite opportunity in Louisville, KY. The SAP BTP Admin is responsible for the end to end administration, configuration, and support of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP S/4HANA public cloud extensibility landscape. This role leads the implementation, adoption, and ongoing optimization of BTP services, including provisioning and configuring environments, managing upgrades and lifecycle processes, and ensuring reliable application monitoring and maintenance. The administrator designs, develops, and tests cloud based SAP system extensions using side by side extensibility practices and technologies such as Fiori, UI5, and CAP, while also enabling integrations with third party and non SAP systems through BTP. In partnership with cross functional technology teams, the role directs solution initiatives and proof of concept efforts, delivering metric driven outcomes while monitoring enterprise spend, forecasting costs, and maximizing platform value. Responsibilities also include supporting shared SAP services such as SAC, Cloud Identity Services, and Integration Suite; developing infrastructure and data pipelines to enable cross system data flows; managing vendor relationships; and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and IT standards. The SAP BTP Solution Administrator promotes continuous improvement through process assessment and automation, maintains comprehensive technical documentation and testing artifacts, and ensures all solutions align with corporate objectives and governance standards. This is a contract opportunity with potential to go permanent with an employee focused company in Louisville, KY

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Solutions including Integration Suite
2–5 years of experience in SAP architecture or products, including cloud-based SAP solutions
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks related to SAP systems
Proven expertise in managing and supporting SAP landscapes, including monitoring and troubleshooting SAP systems and cross-system integrations
Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP BTP Administration or Extension Developer, Solution Architecture, ABAP with SAP BTP or similar)
Strong understanding of cloud services and security practices, with an understanding of common tools preferred (Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Hyperscalers, etc.)
Software development experience with expertise in SAP UI5, Fiori, CAP, Node.JS, Groovy, ABAP
Experience with Cloud Identity Services, Business AI capabilities, SAC, and S4 ERP side-by-side extensibility using cloud ABAP
Bachelors degree or related
