Job Description
An employer is looking for a Revenue Audit Specialist to join their team. This position's focus will be auditing revenue and the distribution of daily operating reports for a large facility. Specific duties include picking up and scanning all paperwork related to audits, review journal entries, reporting taxable earnings information, month end inventory, verifying deposits and a few other areas of responsibility. It is an exciting job with a great team to help. It is necessary for this individual to have strong communication skills so they may provide exceptional communication with internal counterparts and external partners. This position is fully onsite in the Louisville, KY area.

Required Skills & Experience
· 1 year of experience working with accounts receivable, accounts payable, or revenue auditing prior or an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
· Experience compiling and auditing revenue, reviewing journal entries, and completing inventories at month end with support of audit team
· Experience preparing reports to present to management
· Strong professionalism and ability to communicate with all parties
Desire to learn and continue enhancing their professional accounting abilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Experience working with accounting software to verify deposits
Knowledge of the gaming / racing industry
