Job Description

Insight Global is currently seeking a Demand Planning Manager for a full-time, direct hire position based in Lexington, KY. This role involves leading a team of demand planners, balancing workloads, and developing item-level forecasts using advanced algorithms and tools. The manager will collaborate with Sales, Brand, and Finance teams to create accurate demand plans, monitor performance, and make necessary adjustments. Additionally, they will work with supply planning partners to enhance efficiency, drive process improvements, and utilize planning tools like Arkieva. Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication abilities are essential. Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum of 5 years in operations and inventory management roles
- Knowledge of (IBF) Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning
- Familiarity with creating operations forecasts
- Understanding of demand algorithms and methodologies
- Proficiency in Power BI and creating reports
- Experience with planning tools such as SAP-APO or Oracle (Arkieva will be used internally)
- Advanced excel skills, including macro creation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate business insights
Awareness of IBF (Institute of Business Forecasting)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- APIC experience
- IBF certification - includes CPF or ACPF
