Job Description

As an ECOAT Specialist you will be working directly on a line dealing with ECOAT. You will be responsible for various parts of the line and some of the day to day responsibilities include:
Perform daily checks on pH, voltage, pressure, and flow; report and troubleshoot deviations.
Handle and manage chemicals safely, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Modify ECOAT line settings based on chemical test results to maintain quality.
Conduct titrations and add chemicals as needed.
Manage tank pump outs, clean during downtime, and address issues with pumps and plumbing.
Troubleshoot and document quality defects and countermeasures.
Oversee chemical inventory and ensure proper documentation and disposal.
Manage RO and Waste Water Systems, maintaining compliance records.
Drive mobile equipment to handle sludge and replace chemical totes.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of relevant experience in an industrial setting (Paint, Paint fluids, wastewater)
Experience with PFEMA, A3, or 8D
Experience with data collection and maintenance of records and standards, preferably in an area with regulatory rules/laws (city, state, federal).

Nice-to-Have Requirements:
Understanding of the manufacturing ECOAT processes.
Ability to present processes and results to all levels of the organization.
Must be creative and innovative.
Analytical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
