Job Description
An employer is looking for a Process Engineer to join the team for a green field development initiative local to KY. This individual will be joining a brand-new plant that is still in the process of creation. At times, this individual will be required to shadow neighboring plants in the Tennessee / Georgia area. This individual will be primarily focused on the support of manufacturing process engineering activity for Final Assembly. Another key area of focus will be to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity. This can be done by developing action plans as required to investigate and prioritize quality concerns and verify corrective actions on internal processes and supplier processes. Compliance of the Plant, Corporate, Governmental and Environmental standards will be prioritized throughout.

Required Skills & Experience
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering Discipline Experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment working as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer
- Professional experience working with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
o Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, and Value Stream Mapping
- Process design experience (equipment sizing, selection)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Prior experience working within a green field development initiative
