An employer is looking for an Instructional Designer to join the team local to Glendale, KY in the support of one of the world's largest greenfield development projects within the Automotive Industry. This individual will be responsible for Needs Assessments and Analysis, Leading Course / Curriculum Development, and building partnerships with the internal manufacturing skills team to align training and gaps in current learning solutions. The Learning and Development team is focused on developing innovative learning solutions that meet high tempo demands within a highly technical manufacturing environment. This role is a key member of the Global Start up and will aid to help propel our organization into the future where employee's performance is optimized as a result of well-designed learning experiences. This will be an onsite position with hybrid remote flexibility at times and travel to GA/TN.

* Bachelors Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources / Workforce Planning, or a related field
* Knowledge of instructional theory and different learning modalities including assessment/evaluations.
* Project management skills and ability to communicate project plans and progression using appropriate tools while meeting project deadlines.
* Visual design/graphic skills (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
* SharePoint 2016
* Audio/video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, After Affect)
* Ability to develop deliverables in a variety of learning delivery modalities using commercially available development software (any / all of the following: Captivate, Camtasia Studio, Storyline / Articulate)
· Masters degree in education, Instructional Design, Human Resources / Workforce Planning, or a related field
· Knowledge of Industry 4.0--which includes connectivity, advanced analytics, automation, and advanced-manufacturing technologies (i.e., IIoT, AGVs, robotics, AI, Machine Learning, additive manufacturing)
· Experience with SAAS based guided step authoring systems (low code) and the delivery of content through client applications
· A rich understanding of modern training approaches and/or with advanced learning delivery tools (tablets, smart eyewear, mixed reality/HoloLens)
· Experience Virtual Reality learning environments and strategies
· Experience with mixed reality learning environments and strategies
