Job Description

A Fortune 100 Automotive client in the Georgetown, KY area is seeking a Project Leader to join their network engineering team. This resource will be responsible for driving technology and systems-related initiatives across a large-scale production and enterprise environment. They will partner with business and IT stakeholders to evaluate current systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead the execution of projects ranging from system upgrades to enterprise-wide implementations. Other responsibilities include:
Conduct project feasibility analyses, investigations, and evaluations
Build cost/benefit analyses and recommend optimal solutions
Advise stakeholders on leveraging IT systems for business challenges
Evaluate data, assess alternatives, and recommend action plans
Operate independently with minimal oversight on assigned initiatives
Estimate resource needs (personnel, systems, tools, etc.)
Develop project work plans, timelines, and sequencing strategies
Create project schedules, testing strategies, and conversion plans

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years leading Network Engineering projects in a Cisco-centric environment (WAN/LAN/WLAN, routing/switching, firewalls, and wireless)
- Experience managing multiple small projects at a time (totaling up to $1M)
- 3-5 years working with monitoring/alerting tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, PagerDuty, Site24x7, Nagios)
- Leading Cybersecurity projects and presenting to relevant stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- PMP
- Six Sigma certified (Black belt or green belt)
