Job Description

Insight Global's client is a trusted personal injury and bankruptcy law firm serving the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region.

Since 2005, their team of dedicated attorneys has helped thousands of clients recover compensation for injuries, navigate workers’ compensation claims, and find financial relief through bankruptcy. With a client-first approach and deep local roots, they’re committed to making legal support accessible, compassionate, and effective.

Day to Day:
-Draft legal documents, formal discovery requests, formal discovery responses, notices, interrogatories, motions, memoranda, deposition summaries, medical record summaries, and letters.
-Proofreading, Review, and Editing. For anything originally drafted by the attorney, the firm expects the attorney to proofread the work, including checks for proper spelling, grammar, and formatting. Similarly, the attorney will often assign drafting tasks to law clerks, paralegals or administrative staff.
-Prepare for, and attend, hearings and depositions.
-Personal Injury, Social Security, and Workers’ Compensation Only:
-Understand, summarize, and utilize medical records. -Further, because medical records and billing are the backbone of any injury case, attorneys must know how to use the medical records to prove damages and/or coverage in their given practice area.
-Personal Injury: Preparation for trial.
-The attorney must be trial ready, and know how to create exhibit binders, trial notebooks, deposition summaries, motions in limine, and other documents necessary to conduct a trial to a jury or to the bench.
-Attorneys must also be able to prepare for, and to conduct, voir dire, opening statements, direct and cross examination, and closing arguments.
-Social Security and Workers’ Compensation Only:
-Preparation for Final Hearings and Final Briefings.
-The attorney must be able to conduct a final hearing in which testimony is elicited from one or more witnesses and must be able to draft and submit any required briefings related to those hearing.
