Job Description
Insight Global's customer in the Material Handling Industry is searching for Sr. Controls Engineers to join their team on a Remote basis with up to 50% Travel expectations. This individual will lead the design and development of industrial material handling control systems, from concept and requirements through prototyping, testing, and manufacturing implementation. This role develops PLC programs, control panel specifications, and automated equipment sequences while leading projects, ensuring performance, cost, quality, and safety objectives are met, and providing mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience
6+ years of related experience
Experience with industrial HMI and SCADA systems, Allen-Bradley controls/controllers and Schneider PLCs
Professional experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical or other related electrical CAD systems such as EPlan
