Job Description
An employer is seeking an OT Systems Engineer in the EU. The Systems Engineer – Enterprise & Industrial Lifecycle (EMEA) role is a hands‑on infrastructure position responsible for deploying, migrating, and supporting server and virtualization environments across industrial and enterprise sites, with a strong focus on production stability. The role involves on‑site installation of server hardware, building and operating Hyper‑V platforms, migrating workloads from VMware and physical systems, and modernizing shop‑floor computing environments while ensuring legacy peripherals continue to function. In parallel, the engineer conducts infrastructure discovery and capacity assessments to support long‑term (2027) lifecycle planning, translating site findings into actionable input for architecture and bill‑of‑materials planning. The position requires extensive travel across Europe and the UK, strong Windows and virtualization expertise, and a production‑first mindset focused on uptime and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience in OT or industrial environment
Virtualization: Deep expertise in Microsoft Hyper-V (Failover Clustering, CSVs) and experience with VMware ESXi / vSAN.
Migration Tools: Experience with Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter or StarWind V2V for migration tasks.
Hardware: Professional experience with Dell PowerEdge servers. Experience with Dell PowerStore and Pepperl+Fuchs Thin Clients are a plus.
Analytical Tools: Ability to run and export reports from LiveOptics or similar tools.
OS Knowledge: Strong Windows Server (2016-2022) and Windows 10/11 IoT/Enterprise skills.
Willing to travel 1 week per month
