Job Description

A fortune 50 organization is seeking an Agile Coach that will sit fully remote with the expectation to travel onsite quarterly for a long term contract role.

Key Responsibilities:
Coaching and Mentoring
Mentor and guide Agile teams on their journey to becoming self-sustaining, high-performing Agile teams
Guide teams in Agile practices, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, reducing the gap between Agile theory and practice
Teach and share Agile experiences and perspectives that foster the personal and professional growth of team members
Support teams in assessing, measuring, documenting, and communicating progress against defined Agile transformation goals
Facilitation and Collaboration
Create and deliver workshops that offer hands-on experience and provide guidance on using Agile practices and principles
Partner with other Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Delivery Teams to help influence an environment of collaboration and transparency throughout the organization
Identify organizational impediments to successful Agile transformation and work with the leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them
Build working relationships and use effective influence skills to foster change, growth, and cross-team collaboration
Collaborate with teams to assess the overall health of enterprise agility and help them identify improvement opportunities
Metrics
Develop, track, and monitor Agile metrics on things that affect value-driven delivery and indicate potential problems, and assist teams in implementing solutions to those problems
Conduct and evaluate agile health assessments on a periodic basis

Key Expectations:
Improve team performance by enhancing productivity, delivering value consistently, and maintaining quality standards
Establish sustainable Agile practices, guiding teams to adopt and continuously apply methods that suit their unique needs
Drive organizational agility, influencing leaders and stakeholders to align with Agile values across teams and departments
Track and report on Agile metrics to provide insights into team performance, improvement areas, and the impact of Agile practices across the organization

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of proven experience coaching Agile methodology and best practices to develop high performing, self sustaining teams
Agile Coach Certification
Expertise in creating and delivering workshops on agile practices
Ability to build relationships and influence change across teams and departments
Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Plannisware.
Skill in building partnerships and fostering an inclusive environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working in agile transformations for fortune 500 companies
Agile Trainer Certification
Agile Product Owner Certification
Scaled Agile Expert Certification
