Job Description

Daily Responsibilities:
As a Process Lab Technician, you will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations within a multidisciplinary science and engineering research center. Your responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance and cleaning on industrial-grade machines to ensure optimal functionality. You will follow detailed experimental protocols, accurately document results, and assist in maintaining equipment critical to technology development and scale-up. This position requires a hands-on approach to technical tasks and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized lab environment in compliance with GMP standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Top Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering OR equivalent professional experience
• 1–2+ years of professional experience in a food and beverage background
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on industrial-grade equipment
• Ability to follow detailed experimental protocols and document results accurately
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to adhere to GMPs (hairnets, beard nets, safety shoes, lab coat, hearing protection, safety glasses)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
• Experience working with Canning Systems and Pasteurizing Systems
• Canning Systems: Armfield, Steinfurth, American Canning
• Pasteurization Systems: Tunnel Pasteurization or Batched Pasteurization
• Experience with Carbonation + Nitro
