An employer is looking to hire a Supply Chain Group lead - you will be responsible for the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment. You will manage a team of 30+ hourly union employees, overseeing timekeeping, performance management, and the flow of materials from dock to assembly line. Your role includes training, developing, and evaluating team members. By leading Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) processes, you will set goals to meet or exceed production cost schedules while maintaining quality standards. You will ensure awareness of quality standards, communicate department quality goals, and leverage resources to resolve quality issues. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with union employees is essential. Motivating, training, and developing employees to perform their jobs effectively using standardized methods is a key part of your responsibilities. We seek someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment, with high energy and the ability to boldly lead a team of hourly union employees.
