Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking 2 Robotics Maintenance Technician to provide day to day maintenance and support to a large shipping & receiving facility that is fully automated in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area. This role will entail preventative maintenance & repairs as well as ad hoc repairs as needed for the mechanical and electrical automation equipment in the facility Due to the advanced technology and the automated machinery, this role will also involve a high level of awareness, attention to detail and electrical safety standards. Additionally, this role will require walking up to 30,000 steps/day. The shift is 1 - (12AM – 10AM Mon – Thursday) & (12AM – 10AM Thursday – Sunday)

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED
3-5 years experience with electrical & mechanical maintenance within controls & automation
High situational awareness
Strong IT knowledge -understanding of closed circuit loop PLCs (ability to download PLCs from software to new equipment & install it. No writing code)
Allen Bradley, Siemens Controls
Willing to walk 30,000 steps/day

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

OSHA 30 certified - electrical hazard safety
