Job Description

Responsible for administering multiple PI environments, including point creation, compression tuning, AF and analysis configuration, performance optimization, and PI Vision display updates. Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and participate in an on call rotation, leveraging monitoring tools and automation where possible. Act as the PI system product owner by managing the roadmap, lifecycle upgrades, and vendor support while partnering closely with plant operations and transformation teams to gather requirements and support new and existing integrations. Contribute to solution design, architecture, and execution across IT/OT disciplines, and travel to plant sites as needed to collaborate on integrating solutions into operational workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years PI System or data historian administration experience
• Experience designing and architecting PI or similar operational platforms
• Hands-on with PI core components (Data Archive, AF, AF Analysis, integrations)
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Eligible to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• AVEVA PI System or Aspen IP21 experience
• Plant systems: DeltaV, Ignition, Honeywell, LIMS
• Microsoft SQL Server
• High availability technologies (PI HA, SQL Always On, F5)
• On prem Windows application deployments & networking fundamentals
• Manufacturing / real-time systems environment
• Monitoring & alerting automation (Grafana, Tanium, LogRhythm)
• Project or product ownership experience
• Customer- and vendor-facing experience
