Insight Global is looking for an IT Architect with a strong background in infrastructure for our client in Wichita, KS. This person will be responsible for owning the end-to-end technology vision, strategy, and execution for Mobility, Endpoint Architecture , Productivity & Collaboration ), Low-Code platforms, and Classic Infrastructure Applications. You will define and select optimal technology stacks, design work processes, architect applications, reverse-engineer existing systems to map dependencies, and guide complex projects. This person should have strong logical reasoning, critical thinking, personal organization, and interpersonal skills will ensure solutions deliver real business value and align with the strategic objectives of the business. Ideally a strong background in systems engineering or IT architecture with about 8+ years of experience. This role is a 6 month contract to hire onsite in Wichita, KS.

8+ years of enterprise IT architecture experience, including hands-on design and implementation
Automation experience
Background in Infrastructure
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure experience (VDI)
Proficiency in creating application architectures for on-prem and cloud-hybrid environments
Demonstrated ability to reverse-engineer and document application configurations, dependencies, and data flows
Strong understanding of identity & access management (Azure AD, SSO, conditional access), networking, and security best practices
Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience with ITIL processes, ServiceNow (or similar ITSM tools), and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines
Proven success managing MSP relationships and SLAs
