Job Description
My client is looking for hands on, safety driven Exploration Team Members to support subsurface exploration projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, operating heavy equipment, traveling to project sites, and being part of a tight knit field crew.
Drilling & Field Work
• Operate a geotechnical drill rig to drill shallow holes in soil.
• Lead a 2 person drill crew during daily drilling tasks.
• Collect and classify soil/rock samples.
• Install monitoring wells and other instruments in the ground.
Site Tasks
• Look over the site before drilling (basic surveying & safety checks).
• Confirm utilities are clear before drilling.
• Load/unload tools, materials, and samples.
Equipment & Driving
• Perform basic maintenance and small repairs on the drill rig.
• Drive drilling equipment and trucks to/from job sites.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
Paperwork & Safety
• Complete daily field logs and DOT driving logs.
• Follow all safety rules and participate in pre task safety meetings.
• Report any safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.

Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ year of drilling experience
o In-situ, barge, angle, environmental, etc.
- HS diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- CDL – Class A or B
