Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Director of Lean Manufacturing in the Wichita, KS area. This role will lead Lean strategy across Wichita and Tulsa sites, driving production system resiliency and efficiency. The Director will manage a team of experts and production leaders, build and execute roadmaps, and serve as a change agent across the organization. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional projects, improving first-pass yield, standardizing processes, and presenting performance metrics to senior leadership. 10%-25% of travel will be expected between Wichita, KS and Tulsa, OK.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in engineering or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in lean manufacturing and leadership experience in aerostructure or similar manufacturing plants
10+ years of experience using problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to develop innovative and expedient solutions to manufacturing problems
10+ years of proven ability to communicate effectively, act decisively, and demonstrate innovation and resourcefulness
Proven Track Record of leading enterprise level Lean transformation initiatives
Strong Analytical, Leadership and Communication Skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in automotive manufacturing (Toyota, Ford, or other Lean companies)
Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset
Experience presenting to senior leadership and driving cross-functional change
Familiarity with cost analysis and production efficiency metrics
Experience in companies undergoing acquisition or transformation
