Job Description
As a technical writer for Insight Global, I develop and maintain user documentation tailored for both self-service and staff users across multiple formats. I ensure all content is updated with each software release and meets WCAG accessibility standards. My work includes creating user guides, SOPs, Quick Start Guides, release notes, presentations, and desk aids for web applications. I design and deliver training programs through on-site sessions, virtual classrooms, and self-paced modules. I conduct product demos, webinars, and coaching sessions while adapting materials to various learning styles and technical levels. I collaborate with software development teams to gain deep product knowledge and participate in development meetings to stay ahead of upcoming changes. I build strong relationships with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure documentation reflects system functionality accurately. I gather user feedback to improve documentation and training materials, identifying trends and proactively addressing common questions. I assist with proposal responses by leveraging existing documentation to answer RFPs efficiently. Each day, I balance writing, training, collaboration, and continuous improvement to support product usability and user success.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ year's experience in technical writing and documentation, with a strong ability to communicate technical details, functionalities, and product updates/changes to end users
• 2+ year's experience with designing and/or delivering technical training frameworks/programs
• Experience with tools such as MadCap, Flare, Git & Github, HTML, CSS, Matomo, or Adobe Captivate (MadCap & Github preferred)
• Strong experience with cross collaborating with technical and functional teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working for a SaaS company
• Experience helping revamp websites to be more user friendly and informative to customer bases
Experience conducting training sessions with end users
