Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Microsoft 365 Administrator to provide support for Active Directory Sync and ADFS, ensuring the stability and security of synced and federated user directories. They play an integral role in the implementation, operation, and ongoing maintenance of identity services that support statewide collaboration platforms. The administrator manages user accounts across Microsoft 365, including licensing, account settings, group and policy memberships, and user migrations. They routinely collaborate with vendors, teammates, and other government‑based partners to support shared services and resolve platform issues. The role includes administering the Microsoft 365 Compliance Center to help govern data and services in alignment with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements such as eDiscovery, litigation holds, and PST management. The administrator also provides technical support for Microsoft 365 collaboration tools including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, and assists in developing business solutions using these platforms. They support the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of cloud‑based messaging and collaboration system. Responsibilities include managing on‑premises infrastructure such as servers, certificates, and DNS configurations that integrate with cloud services. The administrator troubleshoots complex issues across networks, servers, Active Directory, ADFS, and Microsoft 365 applications using PowerShell, Microsoft admin tools, and advanced diagnostic utilities. In addition to daily operational responsibilities, the administrator supports special projects and assists during emergency situations to ensure continuity of service and adequate staffing.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience with troubleshooting and/or administering Microsoft 365 applications/systems
• Experience with endpoint, access, and device configuration management (preferably Azure AD, Entra ID, and Intune)
Some knowledge of PowerShell scripting (whether prewritten scripts or from scratch)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with M365 suite migrations
Azure certifications
