We are seeking a Senior Transmission Line Design Studies Engineer for multiple office locations, with the option to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location. The engineer will be responsible for completing 3-5 assigned projects and maintaining client relationships, requiring technical competence and the ability to mentor team members. Projects will include AC and DC transmission line design support studies for utility and commercial clients, covering insulation coordination, transient simulation, TRV analysis, circuit breaker rating studies, steady state unbalance, single pole reclosing, delayed zero crossing, neutral reactor sizing, NESC clearance studies, equipment minimum approach distance studies, phase conductor sizing, optical shield wire sizing, lightning performance prediction, surge arrester application, corona performance prediction, corrosion analysis, finite-element electric/magnetic field analysis, resonance studies, electric losses, and FACTS device implementation.

- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience working in a related field.
Experience with ATP, PSCAD, DigSILENT, EPRI T-Flash, SWRATE, CAFEP, POLARIS, I2G LPE, CDEGS, or equivalent software packages
