Job Description

DAY TO DAY:
The Sr. Accounting Manager role is a key leadership position within the Controllers group in one of our operational accounting teams that focus on Revenue, Device Supply Chain, Fixed Assets and Leases, or Corporate Accounting. This role is responsible for setting team vision, overseeing the accounting close process, ensuring SOX compliance, driving end to end solutions, elevating team performance through coaching, and providing accounting leadership for business initiatives. This position collaborates with business partners across the enterprise, such as FP&A, Marketing, Procurement, HR, Legal, Business Operations, Technology, as well as Accounting Policy and External Reporting.

This person will be hired to support the accounting team when other senior members of the team are pulled into a massive implantation project. When these team members start dedicating their full time to the project, the team will be without SMEs to help carry out responsibilities of the group. This position is open to help alleviate the workload and provide support until the project has been completed.

Though leadership experience is important, this is not a people management role. This individual may be asked to help mentor, support, interview, or assist in employee growth, but they will not have anyone reporting directly to them.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
o Specifically in Fixed Assets, Corporate Accounting, Lease Accounting, Close and Consolidations, or Device Supply Chain Accounting.
- Large company experience (big 4, second tier accounting firm, company $1B+ in revenue)
- BS in Accounting
- Strong advanced excel knowledge.
- Experience managing/analyzing big data.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- CPA or CA (Chartered Accountant)
