Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Kansas City area. This person will work remotely until May and then will report onsite in Overland Park 3 days a week. This person will join an existing team of developers to help prioritize the current pipeline of projects that the team is working on. This person will be working on 3-4 projects and it will vary from application rebuilds, maintenance on current applications and more. The lead will spend about 70% of their time with lead duties and 30% of their time in the development space. This candidate needs to have experience with C# coding and React in an Azure environment with experience doing design and architecture duties. You should also possess good communication skills across various departments. This position is looking to start ASAP!

Required Skills & Experience
• Prior experience as a lead or mentor for a Software Engineering group
• 7+ years of experience with C#/.Net
• 5+ years of experience with React
• 5+ years of experience working in an Azure Cloud Environment
• 5+ years of experience with greenfield coding in C#
• 3+ years of experience with design/architecture
Experience with Python
