Job Description
• Insight Global is seeking a Remote Software Developer to join a collaborative team supporting a custom in house developed health system. This developer will work alongside a team of four developers and play a key role in modernizing the application. The primary focus will be a partial front‑end rewrite using the existing codebase, aimed at improving efficiency, code cleanliness, and long‑term maintainability, while the back end will be primarily maintenance-focused with some enhancements as needed. The team is targeting having the front‑end rewrite close to completion, or fully completed, by the end of July.
Day to day, this developer will participate in daily standups and other recurring meetings held in Central Standard Time, collaborate closely with teammates, and contribute to improving the overall architecture. This role requires a strong team player who communicates well, and is motivated to help clean up and enhance a system to better support future growth and development.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ Years of experience develop and maintaining web applications in React and Node-JS
• Knowledge of database technologies MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
• Experience with RESTful API's and familiarity with control systems (Git)
• Experience with recursive development style
○ 70% front end and 30% Backend
• Strong coding standards
Good communications skills along with the ability to work with cross functional teams
