Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Application Analyst to support cardiology and imaging systems by ensuring applications run smoothly and meet clinical needs. About 50% of the role involves troubleshooting tickets and investigating problems, including resolving system issues and collaborating with interface analysts to maintain connectivity between systems. 20% of the time is dedicated to projects and implementations, such as planning, designing, and configuring new applications or enhancements, while adhering to departmental standards and project timelines. The remaining 30% focuses on learning, day-to-day operations, and team calls, including maintaining certifications, documenting workflows, and participating in optimization efforts. Analysts work closely with clinicians and stakeholders to gather requirements, redesign workflows, and validate solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include testing new features, creating test scripts, and ensuring successful integration across systems. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently or lead small projects, and proficiency in Epic or similar applications within six months of hire. Analysts must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills while collaborating with vendors and internal teams. Success in this position means timely resolution of issues, accurate documentation, and proactive identification of optimization opportunities. This position may require occasional on-call support and participation in training activities for end-users.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
2+ years of technical and/or functional experience within clinical, cardiology, or informatics domains in the healthcare sector
○ Experience working directly with users on either troubleshooting, maintenance, and provisioning OR user interface configuration
○ Experience working cross functionally between both non-IT and IT departments for issue resolution or other project specific work related to clinical or informatics systems/applications
Ability to multi task, great communication skills, and go getter mentality
Comfortable passing a drug test which includes Marijuana
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PMP certificate or any other tech/clinical certifications or education
Experience with Epic
Cardiology or Imaging experience
