Position requires having all your own hand tools. (Power tools will be provided).
Work on medical, school, federal, state, and commercial business projects.
Assembles, install, maintain, and pressure test pipes, ttings, and xtures of hydronic, water, drainage, and gas systems according to specications and plumbing codes.
Performing all or a combination of the following tasks: Installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing various other components of a piping system.
Using various tools of the trade.
Inspect joints, valves, pumps, heaters, sinks, tanks, valves, backow devices, and other plumbing system components to locate malfunctions, and repairs or replaces when necessary.
Inspecting and testing piping after repairs, alterations, or additions have been completed to determine if there is any leakage
Studies plans, drawings, specications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
Supervise and mentor assigned assistants/apprentices/laborers.
Perform other duties as directed by the site foreman or superintendent.
The candidate is responsible for transportation to and from the job sites.
