Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Carpenter to join their clients special projects construction team. This person will be responsible for performing all duties at a customer's request relating to coordinating craftsman, materials, and subcontractors for individual projects. They should be comfortable operating power tools, saws, and heavy machinery required to perform various construction projects, installations, repairs, and renovations. The right person will be comfortable completing a variety of projects utilizing, plywood, wood, wallboard, metal studs, carpet tiles, cements, and a multitude of other materials at a clients discretion. They should be comfortable conforming to local building codes and working directly with customers. A valid drivers license is required.

Required Skills & Experience

- Multiple years of hands on experience constructing, installing, repairing and performing general carpentry and craftsman duties
- Comfortability operating carpenters hand tools, power tools, and operating various machines to complete construction projects
- Understanding of blueprints or construction sketches to deliver projects within scope
- Completion of formal apprenticeship program, superintendent training, or combination of training and work experience in relevant field construction trade
- physically able to see, sit, stand, lift, stoop, kneel and carry heavy objects
