Job Description
Insight global is looking for a financial coordinator to help support our client in Lawrence, KS. This person will be supporting financial operations by managing expense workflows, reconciling purchasing card transactions, and ensuring vendor documentation is complete and compliant. You will be collaborating with stakeholders to process honorariums, generate financial reports, and audit expenses for accuracy and timeliness. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to be a self-starter but also collaborate with a team. This person should have a few years as a financial coordinator and be willing to work onsite in Lawrence as needed and remote otherwise. This role is a 6 month contract with potential fulltime hire.

2+ years of experience as a financial coordinator
Experience with P Card reconciliation
W9 processing experience
Honorarium processing experience
Experience with cost center expense reports
Experience with project expense reports
Audit experience verifying payment timeliness and accuracy
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience in a university or research setting managing honorariums and grant-related expenses
Familiarity with Concur
Exposure to compliance audits or internal financial controls
