Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a senior-level Mobile Device Management (MDM) professional with deep expertise in SOTI and large-scale rugged mobility environments. This individual will serve as both a technical leader and a hands-on support resource, responsible for managing and supporting a SOTI MDM environment across 10,000+ rugged Android devices. On a day-to-day basis, they will configure and maintain device groups, application deployments, and policy structures across multiple user and device profiles, while troubleshooting device, application, and connectivity issues remotely with field-based employees such as drivers and warehouse staff. They will partner closely with operations teams to ensure uptime and device reliability, provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, and contribute to ongoing improvements focused on optimization and scalability of the device ecosystem. Additionally, they will assist with device lifecycle management, including provisioning and large-scale refresh efforts, and participate in off-hours support as needed to maintain a 24/7 operational environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SOTI MDM (MobiControl)
• 5+ years supporting rugged mobility environments (warehouse, logistics, field operations, delivery, etc.)
• Experience managing large-scale environments (10,000+ devices)
• Strong Android device management experience
• Experience supporting multiple device types and configurations (device grouping, app provisioning, policy differences)
• Operating in a 24/7/365 environment (comfortable with occasional off-hours support)
• Demonstrated mentorship and knowledge-sharing with team members
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve device issues remotely with end users (drivers, warehouse staff, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with an additional MDM platform (Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, MobileIron/Ivanti, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Zebra devices (TC77, MC9400, ZQ630)
• Experience with other OEMs (Honeywell, Samsung, etc.)
• Led or contributed to large-scale device refresh (4,000+ devices)
