Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an account manager that align with EMCOR Services Fagan's sales philosophy and processes, seek out and research prospective clients, and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing. Responsibilities include making calls, attending conferences, developing client relationships, preparing proposals, and delivering presentations. The role involves collaborating with the Sales and Branch Managers to improve account programs, maximizing sales growth, and staying informed about industry trends.

• Seeking out and researching prospective clients and/or projects through various methods including contacting prospective client Chief Engineer, Property Managers, and/or Asset Managers, etc.
• Prospecting new leads, qualifying sales calls, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating and managing sales cycle to close sales.
• Making phone calls, visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, and leveraging existing relationships.
• Introducing, developing, and maintaining relationships with prospective clients.
• Working with the Sales Manager and Branch Manager along with other Team members to review and improve account programs and processes to meet targeted objectives.
• Managing through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability of account clients.
• Preparing and delivering client presentations.
• Developing, writing, and reviewing client proposal documents including financial and technical sections, using standard templates and pricing models.
• Developing sales at defined margin levels to attain market share.
• Communicating professionally with various departments within EMCOR Services Fagan, such as Operations, project management, sales, field teams, and others.
• Demonstrating a personal commitment to your growth and development, including attending product trade shows and sales training events, and participating in all professional training provided by EMCOR Services Fagan.
• Keeping informed of industry information of interest to customers. Tracking industry trends. Checking competitive activity. Developing methods of attaining new business.
• Reaching your written, annual sales plans.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC commercial service or a related field.
• Open to someone who is a very experienced tech (15+ years experience) and wanting to be more office based/sales oriented
• 2+ years of sales experience within the service/technical Industry
• Developing new Client partnerships
• Relevant technical experience, preferably in a facilities management or operations and maintenance environment
• Strong customer presentation skills, sales aptitude, and financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
• Independent decision-making is required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Strong computer skills using MS Office, particularly Excel
• Competitive nature, reliable, goal-oriented, ambitious, and high-energy
• Ability to communicate clearly with varying personality styles, manage time effectively, multi-task, and prioritize
