Job Description
The Electrical Assembly Associate is responsible for assembling electrical control panels and installing, wiring, and troubleshooting motors and electronic controls on food processing machinery. This role is split approximately 50% panel build and 50% machine integration, ensuring control panels are correctly applied, wired, and tested on equipment. The associate works with high-voltage systems, electronic controls, and precision tools while maintaining safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
• Assemble electrical control panels according to specifications and quality standards.
• Apply completed control panels to machinery and perform all required wiring and connections.
• Work safely with 480V equipment, motors, and electronic control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using volt meters and other diagnostic tools.
• Install and repair Baader machinery and related equipment accurately and on schedule.
• Solve moderately complex electrical and mechanical problems independently.
• Communicate technical issues clearly and professionally to team members and customers.
• Lead assigned work activities in a professional, respectful, and conflict-free manner.
• Operate precision measuring devices and power tools as required for assembly and installation.
• Complete basic reporting and utilize software tools such as Outlook and Excel.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering quality work and timely support.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on electronic controls within assigned projects.
