AI Office Lead (DFA – Kansas City): Director-level role acting as a strategic leader for enterprise AI, partnering closely with business stakeholders and IT peers to define and execute the AI roadmap. This individual will focus heavily on shaping Copilot and emerging AI capabilities (e.g., Anthropic), driving thought leadership rather than deep technical execution. They’ll influence direction, navigate business conversations, and translate needs into scalable AI solutions while collaborating with peers like Matt and Scott on rollout and implementation. Day-to-day includes owning the AI operating model, prioritizing initiatives, managing stakeholder alignment, and presenting progress and risk to executive leadership. This role will also oversee adoption, ensure measurable business outcomes, build strong relationships across business and IT, and continuously evaluate new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in leadership driving enterprise-level programs
• Strong background in AI/ML, data science, or digital product management
• Experience building or leading AI strategy, roadmap, and governance
• Experience with program governance, prioritization, and benefits realization
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders and build business cases
• Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and delivering measurable business outcomes
• Exceptional communication and executive influence skills
• Strong exposure to Copilot and emerging AI technologies
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience standing up or leading an AI CoE
• Experience in manufacturing, dairy, or food production environments
• Master’s degree (AI, technology strategy, or business)
• Certifications (PMP, ITIL, AI/ML, etc.)
• Knowledge of AI ethics, compliance, and regulatory considerations
