Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Local Senior Software Engineer to assist with several critical technical roadmap initiatives. These efforts focus on platform modernization, risk mitigation, security hardening, and retirement of legacy systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable ramping up quickly in complex enterprise environments.
This role will partner closely with internal engineering, infrastructure, and DBA teams to assess current-state implementations, recommend solutions aligned to future-state architecture, and execute approved plans. The hourly compensation for this role is between $55-65/hr.
Key Responsibilities
• Rapidly ramp up on existing applications, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines
• Evaluate legacy implementations and identify risks, limitations, and improvement opportunities
• Design and execute migration, upgrade, or retirement strategies
• Implement solutions using modern DevOps and cloud-friendly practices
• Collaborate across teams to identify dependencies and usage patterns
• Document technical decisions, processes, and support procedures
• Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Experience
Experience using Azure DevOps for engineering workflow and releases, including CI/CD build and release configuration
Strong full-stack/backend development in the target languages — production experience with C# / ASP.NET and Node.js, including refactoring legacy implementations and delivering modernized components/services
