Job Description

Required Skills & Experience

Agile Leadership & Team Enablement: Serve as a servant leader for Data & AI teams, creating an environment where teams can focus on delivering value, improving continuously, and taking ownership of outcomes. Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile principles and practices while fostering psychological safety, accountability, and collaboration.

Agile Practices & Facilitation: Guide teams in applying Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches in ways that support effective delivery rather than rigid adherence to ceremony. Facilitate key team ceremonies—including daily stand-up, planning, reviews, and retrospectives—to drive alignment, transparency, and learning.

Backlog & Value Delivery: Partner closely with Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain healthy, well-refined backlogs aligned to business outcomes. Help teams break down work into deliverable increments, clarify priorities, and maintain a sustainable pace of delivery.

Flow Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Use delivery metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and flow trends to help teams understand how work moves through the system and identify opportunities to improve predictability and delivery effectiveness. Facilitate retrospectives and learning loops that lead to actionable improvements.

Impediment & Systemic Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address obstacles impacting team effectiveness. Work with leadership and cross-functional partners to resolve systemic impediments and improve organizational processes that affect delivery.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration across platform engineering, data engineering, analytics, and business teams. Help teams manage dependencies, improve communication, and align around shared goals to enable smooth delivery of complex data and AI initiatives.

Agile Tooling & Transparency: Support teams in effectively using Agile tooling such as Azure DevOps (boards, sprints, dashboards) to maintain transparency into priorities, work progress, and delivery outcomes. Encourage practices that provide visibility while keeping tools lightweight and supportive of team workflows.

The hourly pay rate for this role is between $45-60/hr.
