Job Description
Insight Global is currently hiring for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer for a top financial client in the Des Moines area. The Salesforce DevOps Engineer is a senior, hands-on technical leader within the Customer Experience Enterprise Apps Platform team. This role is responsible for the execution and operational excellence of Salesforce DevOps and release engineering practices across the platform.
The position owns how changes are built, tested, versioned, promoted, and deployed through the DevOps lifecycle at scale. While Architecture defines non-functional requirements and technical standards, and Product and Admin functions define configuration and feature design, this role operationalizes those decisions through CI/CD design, deployment automation, environment promotion controls, and release reliability engineering. Success in this role depends on strong partnership with Product, Admin, and Architecture teams; ownership of delivery mechanics resides here, while solution intent and configuration authority remain with their respective functions.
Through these partnerships this role will focus on eliminating manual processes, reducing variance across teams, and establishing secure, repeatable, and auditable delivery workflows.
This is a senior engineering role focused on execution, standardization and operational reliability at the organizational level, not overall enterprise strategy. The annual salary for this role is between $120,000-150,000/yr.

Required Skills & Experience
Salesforce platform experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud)
Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, Git-based workflows, and modern Salesforce DevOps tooling
Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Flosum, Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT)
Expert-level understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD design
Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling (Flosum preferred)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience operating in scaled agile environments alongside Release Management
Demonstrated ability to standardize and enforce DevOps practices across multiple teams
Proven experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with QA automation frameworks.
