Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a strategic and analytical Data Retention and Destruction Specialist to support the implementation and refinement of our enterprise-wide Data Retention and Destruction Policy. This individual will play a critical role in identifying where data lives across 20+ systems, understanding its journey, and recommending retention and destruction strategies based on best practices. This person will be meeting with stakeholders from different areas of the company, write data mapping documents, and will make recommendations based on past experience on a go forward plan. This person will be compensated at an hourly rate between $40-70/HR dependent on experience.

Experience with Data Retention and Destruction Policy
Experience partnering with stakeholders to understand their data journey; determine where data goes, where does it go?
Experience with Data tagging
- MS Purview, Varonis (platform for data classification)
- Identifying and building out maps of where data is
- Documentation where data is sitting
Ability to share experiences to recommend how to handle data from a retention standpoint
