Job Description
The Lead Technician is responsible for ensuring operational excellence within assigned projects and serving as a key point of contact for the contract team. This role requires strong technical acumen, an understanding of project objectives, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Candidates are expected to demonstrate prior experience in applying these skills in real world scenarios.
Core Responsibilities
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of assigned projects and apply technical knowledge to support execution.
• Operational Management:
o Communicate clear expectations for tasks and deliverables to contract techs. (as defined by management through Daily spin up and Weekly meetings)
o Track and report both staffing and technical workflow-based issues promptly, providing solutions where possible.
o Follow established escalation paths for problem resolution.
• Staffing Oversight:
o Monitor and manage attendance, absences, and time-off requests for contract technicians.
o Coordinate staffing to ensure adequate coverage and workflow continuity. (with management guidance)
• Training and Onboarding:
o Assist with onboarding new technicians, including account setup and access to data center tools. (Management will provide support and documentation for these processes)
o Provide guidance on workflow processes and tool usage.
• Workflow Coordination:
o Assign tasks to qualified staff and ensure alignment with both project timelines and workflow process/procedure.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for the contract team, addressing questions and facilitating communication regarding Insight Global issues.
Target Pay: $20-$22/HR
The shifts for these roles are Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6AM-6PM OR Thursday- Saturday and every other Wednesday 6AM-6PM.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.
