The Nurse Practitioner will work within a collaborative physician relationship to provide specialized and advanced direct and indirect medical care to clients of all ages, with a focus on OB and family practice. The role includes direct patient care, documentation, and administrative duties, with a set schedule and rotating Saturday shifts. The NP will support a diverse patient population, including a significant Latino/Hispanic community, and will be involved in credentialing and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate is bilingual, compassionate, and experienced in fast-paced clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct medical care, including histories, exams, diagnosis, and treatment plans
• Educate clients and families to promote wellness and disease management
• Prescribe and dispense medications
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
• Complete charge tickets for billing and insurance
• Communicate test results and follow-up to clients
Coordinate care, triage calls, and schedule admissions/testing

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Qualifications
• Valid NP license and Nurse Practitioner Certification
• 3+ years of experience preferred
• Background in family practice or OB (no skilled nursing facility background preferred)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
• Strong communication, compassion, and professionalism
• Experience with credentialing processes
• Willingness to work with a diverse patient population, including Latino/Hispanic communities
• Ability to work set schedule, including rotating Saturdays
Comfortable with patient care (37 hours/week) and documentation (3hours/week)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Experience
• Emergency room background
• Experience in specialty practices (OB preferred)
Familiarity with credentialing and administrative tasks
