Job Description
Support daily HR operations for a manufacturing facility by managing payroll, employee records, compliance reporting, leave administration, and employee relations. Partner closely with the HR Manager and corporate HR team to ensure accurate processes and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain employee records in the HRIS system.
Manage employee status changes, leave of absence cases, and workers' compensation documentation.
Assist with employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and policy compliance.
Generate labor, payroll, and compliance reports for leadership.
Support employees with HR-related questions, security badge administration, and general HR services.
Collaborate with local leadership and the broader HR team to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience
• 4 years exp in HR manager or generalist type role, not admin or assistant
• Experience managing leave of absence cases (personal leaves)
• Experience with work comp
• Managing people, employee reviews
• Ability to commute to Newton
Available to be on call for emergency situations
