Job Description
As a Software Engineer, you’ll collaborate within a scrum environment, contributing to a full-stack development project. Leveraging technologies such as .NET 7, C#, REST API, Entity Framework, Angular 16, SQL, Azure, you’ll work on a reporting and analytics project. We value continuous learning and a proactive mindset. This opportunity with one of our largest scientific research companies we partner with and is expected to be a 12±month contract. Upon submission to our client, we’ll request two professional references. The target pay rate is $20/hr based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM discipline, or an equivalent four-year degree. They should have hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot for code generation and testing. From a technical standpoint, proficiency in C#.NET is required, along with strong experience in MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, and REST API development. The candidate must also be capable of testing APIs and developing integration test scripts. In addition, they should demonstrate web development expertise, including proficiency in Angular 10+ and a solid understanding of RX JS, which is commonly used with Angular frameworks. Finally, familiarity with Scrum or Agile software development methodologies is expected, along with experience working with CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments within Azure environments.
