Job Description

We’re hiring a hands-on Sous Chef to support a high-volume, sports bar–style concept in the Northwood area. This is a leadership role focused heavily on training, developing, and leading a BOH team - ideal for someone who enjoys building people just as much as executing on the line.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Work side-by-side with the team to execute food prep, cooking, and service at a high level
• Lead, coach, and develop BOH staff (line cooks, kitchen help, etc.)
• Manage daily kitchen operations including scheduling, staffing, and delegation
• Monitor employee performance, instructs employees in the proper performance of job duties and administer disciplinary action
• Ensure consistency in food quality, portions, and presentation
• Monitor inventory, food usage, and minimize waste through proper rotation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in line with health standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in a high-volume kitchen (sports bar experience REQUIRED)
• 3+ years in a leadership role (Sous Chef or similar)
• Strong people leadership + coaching mindset
•Comfortable leading and developing a team of ~20 BOH staff
• Process-driven with focus on food quality, safety, and consistency
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
