Insight Global is hiring for an IT Operations Team Lead position. This individual will be responsible for a small service desk team of 3 and acting as a mentor and lead. They will be providing guidance and support on more complex problems. Starting out, this individual can expect to be focused on more project based work such as; assisting with decommissioning applications they no longer need, spinning down and sunsetting applications. For new applications, they will assist in ensuring the QA testing was properly vetted, pilot phase is done, communication is sent out to end users, etc. After some project-based work is completed, they can expect about 60% of their day to be spent as a true team lead, 20% of their day to be spent on authoring scope of work for small to medium sized projects, creates project plans, testing, implementation, and evaluation of systems, and the remaining 20% of their day spent supporting systems administrator duties including quality assurance testing for software module upgrades and changes.
5+ years of experience with Active Directory (will use daily)
5+ years of experience with hands on scripting in PowerShell (will use daily)
3+ years of experience with Azure
Experience leading a team and having mentorship/supervisory responsibilities
Experience with Windows, Microsoft, Exchange
