Job Description

Insight Global is looking to fill an IT Customer Support position with a large financial services client in Des Moines. This individual will be apart of the Support team within the Distribution space. In this role, this candidate could be assisting with the roll out of new equipment (imaging, software installation, handling the migrations) or they could be answering business partners technical calls, emails, IMs, etc. A large portion of this role will be on the phones, answering users questions and troubleshooting tickets. This individual will be taking about 10-15 calls per day and expected to handle a ticket all the way through. This is a highly collaborative environment, the space helps support several different departments. In addition, there is opportunity to transition into more project related work where you'll partake in some coding & development.

Hourly Par Rate for this position is dependent on years of experience and relevant skills. Pay ranges from $22.00 - $40.00 per hour.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree (Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering preferred).
Relevant internship or professional experience in an IT customer service, IT support, IT troubleshooting role, or Helpdesk (1-3 years of experience).
Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite.
Exposure to coding or development in past projects/internships.
Innovative, Engineering mindset, and great problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and professionalism.
