Data Platform Architect

We are seeking a Data Platform Architect to support our enterprise-wide data strategy journey, focused on unifying data communities, streamlining governance, and enabling scalable AI-driven solutions. This role is pivotal in building and integrating a federated data platform that empowers data scientists, engineers, and developers across the organization.

Strong background in application development and DevOps (Terraform, Python).
Experience with platform engineering and enabling product teams.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and domain-driven design.
Ability to communicate effectively with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Comfortable working in hybrid cloud environments (Azure & AWS).
Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog is a plus, but not required.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a continuous learning mindset.

Experience building platforms for diverse data communities (citizen developers, analysts, engineers).
Understanding of data mesh principles and federated data architecture.
Proven track record of integrating governance and security into data infrastructure.
Product or platform ownership experience in a data-centric organization.
