Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Dental Hygienist to join our client's established general dentistry team in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This team is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment. The full-time schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday - 8;00-5:00.
Responsibilities
Perform routine dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive care
Take and develop dental X-rays; maintain strict infection control protocols
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and dental health
Document patient care accurately in clinical records (EMR/EHR)
Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to deliver excellent patient care
Maintain a sterile environment and uphold HIPAA/infection control standards

Required Skills & Experience
Active Iowa Dental Hygienist license
Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
Strong patient communication and chairside manner
Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality care
Experience in general dentistry preferred; open to new graduates
