Business Analyst - Appian

Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to join one of the largest Insurance companies in the world. This individual will join the Business Transformation team and partner with stakeholders to gather requirements from Product Owners in Life & Annuities as well as additional B2B stakeholders to transition from Automated Work Distributor (AWD) to Appian platform for their annuities and life insurance products and modernize their tech stack. This will include building requirements and conversion documents as well as working with the QA staff to create test matrices for UAT, regression, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will also be a self-driver and have a willingness to learn throughout the role. This candidate will be compensated at an hourly rate starting at $50/HR.

3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Developing business requirements for multiple systems (Mainframe AS400, APIs, AWD, IVR)
Integrating mainframes and B2B systems
Experience with Appian Platform - asking the right questions to design and implement workflows
Experience with testing - creating test plans and executing
Writing requirements and partnering with QA team
Creating test matrices (UAT, regression, end-to-end, performance testing)
Agile methodology
Guide the team through Agile practices - currently resembles iterative waterfall
Managing monthly releases and sprints
Utilizing Jira for boards and queries

Annuities experience/life insurance industry experience
