Job Description

Insight Global's MedTech client is looking for a Controls Engineer to help configure a data historian tool to run on 70+ assets.. These assets require a hardware to be installed on the them that will tie into the machine and send a signal to the data historian tool (OSI PI) based on if the machine is running production or not. We will also need to set up reason coding in OSI Pi to get a series of the machine cycle activity. This person will be working with CNC, lathes, clean lines, automated coding lines and other types of assets. They will work with processing engineer SMEs to set up the reason coding. The Controls Engineer will also work with data analysts who will set up a dashboard for the data to be collected off the machine and pull the signal reports from OSI PI.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with Manufacturing Controls systems and data flows
Understanding of PLCs
Experience with a data historian tool like OSI PI, Forcam, or similar tool
Bachelors degree strongly preferred
